Torchwood sets record for BBC America

Apparently Torchwood sets record for BBC America - this doesn't actually surprise me, since I think it's also been one of the most heavily promoted BBC America shows in quite a while. But it's still a good thing -- not just for Torchwood, but the Doctor Who "family" in the US generally.

Hey Michael--

AfterElton.com continues its popular series of Torchwood recaps with this latest week's installment, Episode 102: "Day One."

From the recap: Jack suggests that Gwen call her old pals at the police department for assistance but Gwen can't figure out how to put "woman possessed by alien gas, nobbing fellas to death" on a missing person's report.

AfterElton's recap of episode 105: "Small Worlds" is up today...

http://www.afterelton.com/TV/recaps/torchwood/105

From the recap:
Torchwood has a land line, cell phones, internal comms and funky Bluetooth-ish headsets, which they wear religiously even though they're together every waking minute. Heaven forbid they miss that call from the producers of Doctor Who.

You've reached Torchwood. No one is here to take your call. Please leave your name, number, type of alien nuisance, and time of call. Someone will get back to you.
