The Truth

It's unfortunately spoiler-filled, but Behind the Sofa has an article that says it all about what is great about Doctor Who.

The Doctor Who Challenge

Ok -- here's a question. Let's say that you've got ten days to convince an adult woman that Doctor Who doesn't suck.

What would you do? Anything -- individual episodes, meta-information about the series -- whatever..

I figure focusing on new series episodes are best at this point in time -- "Rose" of course is intended as a good first episode. I figure any Steven Moffat episode is a good choice as well, especially since they're generally stand alone.

James Marsters In Torchwood

James Marsters previously of Buffy and Angel fame is going to appear in an episode of the second series of Torchwood, set to air on the BBC in 2008.

Pretty exciting casting news!

New Writers

James Moran was recently announced as writing episodes for both Torchwood and Doctor Who, and he's got a blog that is now, of course, something to be followed as he can't say anything during the production process.

From reading his blog, he certainly sounds like a promising contributor.

I'm curious about his film Severance as well, now -- and I know I have friends who would be very interested in seeing it.

Good luck to him!
