Another Toon

This isn't the first Doctor Who cartoon -- but accompanying the thirteen part live action series will be an additional thirteen part animated adventure. It'll also feature the return of Anthony Head to the Doctor Who family, as he'll be a voice in this story along with Freema Agyeman and David Tennant.

It is written by frequent DWM comnics writer and audio writer Alan Barnes, and directed by Gary Russell. Gary Russell now joins Paul Cornell with being involved with making Doctor Who in every media -- live action, books, audio, and animation.

Any idea what the cartoons are going to be, age-wise? I have kids that are five and six who love the Doctor, but half the episodes are too intense for me to show them.

Also, I would post more often, but your word verification thing seldom works.

My thought is that since it is going to made for Totally Doctor Who, it'll be aimed a little bit more for younger viewers than the television series which has a whole lot larger of an audience.

I don't really control the word verification, as that all comes from google -- it is either that or spend all of my time fighting spam comments.
